Panna Cottas
this weekend, i made some Mango And Vanilla Bean Buttermilk Panna Cottas courtesy of a recipe by Tartelette. this is one of my favourite blogs.
simple to make and a great pudding for any time of the year. the only thing that has put me off making them again is that when you eat them, it's remarkably like eating a very soft boiled egg. one of those cognitive dissonance moments that makes your brain get a bit confused, and then (for us) became quite off-putting. i also needed to add a touch more sugar in the panna cotta.
next time i will use a different fruit so as to avoid the breakfast connotation...
