due to the onslaught of horrific winter weather, regular old snow boots aren't cutting it in the UK. i am told Rubberduck Snowboots are the new star in snow footwear.
nope, i'm sorry, i just can't do it....no, not even if they were free.
another thing i doubt i could do, is part with $700 for a pair of Jimmy Choo designed Ugg boots. news on the street is that sometime soon, a collaboration between the two companies will produce a very fashion-forward and desirable warm boot. i used to be a huge fan of Jimmy Choo until the past 5 or so years when they went too blingy for my taste. on a recent reconnaissance to a store in DC i found the shoes were either very dull (the repeat all year round never out of stock pumps) or really tacky. i'm interested to see what the boots will look like. sheepskin with swarovski crystals? Uggs with a heel?!!??
i don't own any Uggs but i did borrow my sister's on many occasions. i loved them - the softness inside and just the overall comfiness made them perfect for lounging around in. one year i bought a fake pair - black knee-length from...New Look! Ssshhhh. they cost less than 20 quid and i wore them to death, even in a DC snowstorm. oh my god, that's why i never bought Uggs - i am a cheapskate.
