I was so happy to be given Tartine as a Christmas gift -and couldn't wait to try out the recipes. The photographs in the book are mouth-watering and the recipes are simple to follow. I highly recommend this book if you like baking!
The book came part-wrapped in another gift...a reusable parchment sheet. Brilliant idea -I go through rolls of parchment paper and it's quite pricey, so this is a practical and economic baking essential. Sur La Table stock them. I have only found them in one size, but this isn't a problem -the sheet basically covers a baking sheet corner to corner -perfect.
