Spring is springing (sort of)

Roll on springtime...the cold snap was fun while it lasted but now it's getting boring...and the garden needs some life back.
I planted some bulbs back in the autumn, and I am really excited that they are breaking through -some having to try harder than others because of the recent snow. I planted aquilegia, allums -giant ones- and some other bulbs, though I can't remember what exactly.
These are strawberries oddly enough -they appeared last summer out of nowhere (thank you birds above) and they produce small, perfectly formed strawberries.
Elsewhere in the garden there are more signs of life (big sigh of relief that they have lived to fight another year of my gardening skills). We didn't bring anything indoors this winter, oops.
