If you're kicking your heels in Georgetown....
....and you're finding yourself a little weary, I highly recommend these 2 places for a pick-me-up coffee or pastry...or if you're a healthier person than I, for lunch.
Kafe Leopold -an Austrian bistro/cafe
In Cady's Alley off M Street -up past Dean and Deluca on the left side of the road. Leopold's is lovely, especially in warmer weather when you can sit outside in the courtyard. They are chockfull of pastries inside and they focus on Austrian cuisine such as the classic wiener schnitzel to name just one. The coffee is good too. They're Europeans, what can I say?
After you've revitalized yourself, pop into Relish also in the Alley.
Relish stocks Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe, plus a lot of other hard-to-find-in-DC high-end designers (such as Narciso Rodriguez). They carry many designers from all over Europe too - Dries van Noten, Jil Sander, Marni, Henri Beguelin.
It's a mini-mini London, just for an hour or two.

I just heard about a new boutique that opened in Georgetown...and I shall venture in this weekend. It looks fun....and VERY un-DC... :-) Dascha Boudoir Boutique @ 1029 31st St NW
